Ian Lucas
Ian Lucas has taught IB Mathematics since 1981, both as a classroom teacher (the majority of his time spent at Sevenoaks School in the UK) and on intensive exam revision courses around the world.
He wrote the first revision guides for IB Maths in 2001, and was instrumental in the launch of the Guides series first produced by OSC Publishing in 2002. In 2019, Ian became the founding Director of Peak Study Resources, the new publisher for the range of IB study and revision guides.
Ian’s books distil his experience gained in the classroom helping students to prepare for their IB exams through clear explanation of content and methods, alongside a wide range of exam-style questions for practice.
He has produced new editions following each IBO curriculum review: the OSC editions are valid for exams until November 2019, while his brand new Peak IB Study Guides cover the new maths syllabus for students who started their Diploma from September 2019.
